40 US dollars
East Cooke Road

JOIN US FOR A 2-HOUR WORKSHOP on ways to make -- and share -- festive jewel-colored jams as a holiday treat! Nothing is more special than delicious homemade treats from friends and family. With a little time and practice, you can create delightful delicacies in no time -- and at a reasonable cost, too! We’ll do a step-by-step demonstration of water-bath canning of 2 different fruit jams. Students are encouraged to participate in the process of food preservation by working with the canning tools and equipment. You'll receive handouts on basic canning info and easy recipes to try at home. We'll send you home with jams PLUS a delicious herbal finishing salt we prepare during the class. MAKE HOLIDAY MEMORIES: This is a wonderful workshop to take with a friend or family member! We'll invite the holiday vibe into our classroom with colorful decor and music. We'll provide tags, ribbon, and other materials to customize your gifts. All faiths and flavors are welcomed at the Columbus Garden School. We’re expecting lots of Q&A and laughter during class! Each class is limited to 10 students and will likely fill quickly; please register ASAP to avoid disappointment.
