EVERY FAMILY NEEDS AN HERBALIST, a caretaker to turn to in times of need. Are you ready to take on this role of supporting your loved ones on their journey towards optimal wellness? Have you ever wondered if herbs really work? Or more importantly: HOW do herbs work? Ginger, Skullcap, Feverfew, Chamomile, Peppermint: How will you choose the right herb from a long list your Google search turns up for your headache? Digestive problems: Should you reach for Dandelion or Psyllium? In this HANDS-ON class you will find some answers to these questions, and you will gain clarity about the next steps you may want to take on the herbal path. Class takes place at CGS and is limited to 12 students. ** Family Herbalist is the first part of a 3-class SERIES that introduces participants to Western herbalism and provides participants with basic understanding and tools to deal with common imbalances we all encounter in our lives. See our companion classes, Tinctures, Infusions and Salves (3/29/25), and Garden Like An Herbalist (4/26/25), for more information. BONUS: Register for all 3 classes on the Family Herbalist page, and receive a $15 series discount! (Please NOTE that each class has a different price based on herbal materials used in that class. Discount only applies to purchase of entire series.) Registration priority is given to students signing up for the 3-class series until Feb. 8; after this date, students may sign up for individual classes if still available. INSTRUCTOR: Bernadett Szabo lives in Pataskala, OH on a small herb, flower, and vegetable farm. She was born in Hungary where she spent summers in her grandmother’s gardens. She follows deep organic practices with some biodynamic principles on her homestead. Her business is Bernadett's Farmacy (with a focus on supporting women through the years of menopause transition with herbs, food, lifestyle changes, movement); follow her at www.bernadettfarmacy.com.
