Easy to grow, blooms cheerfully, and provides sustenance to pollinators and humans alike who love this strongly scented and intensely flavored herb. Very adaptable to many soil/sun situations. We grow multiple patches of Greek oregano (Origanum vulgare var. hirtum) at CGS as a weed-choking groundcover and deer deterrent. It's also mighty tasty sprinkled fresh on pizza and roasted vegetables!
Grows to 16”H and blooms sporadically all summer if cut back. Durable perennial easily withstands extreme summer and winter conditions as long as it has decent drainage.
Plant division transplanted to 3x3x4" pot.
